Dolores Catania Continues Her 50th Celebration With a Cake That's Dripping in Gold
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member's luxurious cake was topped with something that's very close to her heart.
Eye-popping cakes are a staple of birthday bashes for the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and Dolores Catania doesn't stray from that rule.
Last year, the New Jersey mama celebrated her 49th birthday with a luxurious cake that was covered in the Louis Vuitton logo. And this year, she feted her 50th with another over-the-top confection, and a night out with the girls.
Dolores turned 50 back in December, and had an intimate bash — and a magical unicorn cake — at home. But a birthday that special deserves to be celebrated twice, and Dolores recently showed off another gorgeous cake that marked her milestone.
In her Instagram Stories from March 1, the 50-year-old shared a snap of a two-tiered confection that was dripping in gold. The cake had Dolores' name on it, as well as a gilded 50, and it was studded with red roses.
The cake topper was a brown-and-white dog, which cutely played off Dolores' soft spot for rescue animals. (See the clip above.) Tagging the RHONJ institution Palermo's Bakery, the dog-lover wrote: "Love my cake ... you are the best!"
And as Dolores blew out the sparklers on her custom dessert, she had close friends surrounding her. Teresa Guidice also shared snaps from the cake party, and Melissa Gorga appeared in one of Dolores' party pics.
