Dolores Catania Debuts the Luxe Pool in Her Stunning New Backyard (VIDEO)
After a lengthy renovation process, the RHONJ cast member finally has the gorgeous backyard and pool she’s waited for her “whole life.”
In September 2022, Dolores Catania told BravoTV.com that although she wasn’t officially living with her boyfriend, Paul “Paulie” Connell, she was spending “a lot of time” at his house. However, now that The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member’s incredible backyard is complete, we suspect the couple will also enjoy plenty of special moments in Dolores’ newly renovated outdoor space during the warmer months.
In the video above, Dolores shows her new-and-improved backyard and declares, “I’ve waited a long time to finish it.” As you can see in the clip, the outdoor area has several jaw-dropping features, including a “pretty big” outdoor kitchen with a Coyote grill and a massive island that was built in Germany.
“The reason that I chose this one was because it’s big enough to have my whole family sit around, and [my son] Frankie and all his big man friends sit and eat here on a Sunday,” she explains. Noting that she would typically spend her Sunday in the kitchen cooking over a hot stove, with this new addition, “Now I get to be out here.”
The setup also includes a custom feature that Dolores “had to have”: a “big outdoor burner” where she can cook her sauce, as well as sausage and peppers and meatballs on the side burners.
While the cooking setup is beyond impressive, one of the most breathtaking parts of the backyard is the pool. “I’ve waited my whole life to have a pool,” Dolores declares, noting that hers includes underwater lights, mosaic tile liner, fountains, and a sauna. The pool is surrounded by “enough outdoor furniture for everybody to enjoy” and gorgeous tile. “I chose the porcelain tile to be around the pool because it’s Italian porcelain tile,” Dolores explains. “And I love everything Italian.”
