Gabriella Giudice Had a Festive Bed Party to Celebrate Her College Acceptance (PICS)
Teresa Giudice’s daughter is headed to the University of Michigan, and her bedroom is decked out with school spirit.
Gabriella Giudice is headed to Michigan! In March, Teresa Giudice revealed that her second eldest daughter will attend the University of Michigan next fall. And in the meantime, The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter has plenty of celebrating to do — starting in her own bedroom.
In her recent Instagram Stories, Teresa shared a peek at her daughter’s bed party, which celebrated her acceptance to the prestigious Midwestern school. (These bed parties seem to be a new tradition: Melissa Gorga’s daughter, Antonia Gorga, recently had one to celebrate her acceptance to the University of Delaware, and Heather Dubrow’s twins, Max and Nick, went all out on their celebratory room decor last year after deciding to attend Tufts University and Loyola Marymount University, respectively.)
Teresa’s Instagram post showed her daughter’s bed covered in merch from the University of Michigan, including T-shirts and shorts. Gabriella’s headboard was decorated with sparkling tinsel, a pennant with the university’s logo, and bunches of balloons in the school’s signature blue and yellow.
Decor also included clear cubes spelling out MICH. Teresa tagged New Jersey’s Balloon Boss in her post, giving the Housewives-beloved company a shoutout for its help with the festive scene.
The decor wasn’t limited to the bedroom, though. Teresa’s posts also provided a peek at her balloon-filled dining room, which also had blue and yellow table decor and treats. Gabriella’s sisters and friends joined her for logo-topped cupcakes and a sprinkle-strewn cake. (See more of Teresa’s home in the clip above.)
While Gabriella is about to start her college journey, Teresa’s eldest daughter, Gia, just finished hers. On May 14, Gia graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. The aspiring lawyer commemorated the milestone on her Instagram Stories.
Gia posted a photo of the commencement stage as well as a video of herself and the Class of 2023 turning their mortarboard tassels. Naturally, Gia chose to graduate in impeccable style.
The RHONJ daughter showed up to her graduation in a sophisticated white pencil dress. The sleeveless piece had a chic square neckline with wide shoulder straps; it also had gorgeous subtle draping on the bodice. Gia accessorized the dress with white open-toe heels. She also wore gold bracelets, rings, and her signature pendant necklace.
As always, Teresa is incredibly proud of each of her daughters. Reflecting on Gabriella’s college acceptance, the mother of four wrote a touching post on Instagram.
“I loved you from the moment you opened your eyes,” she wrote. "You are a joy, a wonderful daughter, a voice of reason, the greatest big sister. You, Gabriella, will go on to do great things. You are so kind, inclusive, [and] organized! My mind soars with possibilities for you. Congrats my gorgeous girl[.] Michigan — WOW.”
