’Tis the season for a brand new hairstyle! Well, according to The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum, Jacqueline Laurita, and her daughter, Ashlee Holmes Malleo, at least. The mother-daughter duo have each unveiled new hairstyles lately: Jacqueline went for a new “chocolate fall” hair color, while Ashlee debuted some chic new bangs.
As anyone who has ever rocked a fringe knows, it’s definitely a cut you want to have done by someone you trust. That’s probably why Ashlee turned to someone close when it came time for a cut: her mom! Judging from the photos we have seen so far, it looks like Jacqueline did an absolutely fabulous job.
Ashlee spilled all of the details of her at-home hair transformation, which she initially wasn’t entirely sold on. When she first unveiled the bangs in an Instagram Story, she wrote, “I think I’ll vibe a lot more with these bangs once I’m able to lighten this hair color in a few weeks. I think it’s a little too dark/red to have with these bangs.”
In a September 23 post, she added, “I cut my bangs recently for those who don’t watch my stories lol — Actually, my mom @jaclaurita cut them. But I colored my hair myself with @madisonreedllb from @ultabeauty.”
Ashlee and Jacqueline are no strangers to a DIY beauty treatment. The two glam gurus are constantly trying new looks, whether it’s experimenting with new makeup looks or coloring their hair. In fact, Ashlee once even dyed her 3-year-old son Cameron Hendrix Malleo’s hair a fun blue color.
