Jennifer Aydin Removed Her Chin Implant: "Looking Good Already"

After "struggling" to love her new larger chin, the RHONJ mom debuted another new look after having the plastic surgery procedure reversed.

Last summer, Jennifer Aydin surprised us all when she revealed a totally new look after a rhinoplasty and a chin implant. At the time, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member admitted to Bravo Insider that even though she was "very happy" with her new nose, she was "still struggling" to accept her larger, more defined chin.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/7c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

“I don’t know if I love [my chin implant] at this point,” Jennifer said in July. “I thought that it was going to be better. That’s always the goal, right? To be better. Nobody ever does [plastic surgery] thinking that it’s not gonna go well.” But she had a plan: "Worst comes to worst, I’m just gonna take it out… I was told that [a chin implant] is very easy to take out. They don’t file your real chin at all. They just kind of attach it. It’s just a matter of removing it.”

That time has come. On January 31, the mom of five took to Instagram to share another update: "I had my chin implant taken out today," she said while sporting a bandage on her lower jaw. "Looking good already."

In July, Jennifer explained why she decided to have a chin implant put in in the first place, even though she didn't necessarily want one. “Your nose and your chin have to be a certain ratio [to each other],” she explained. “My [plastic surgeon] husband [Dr. Bill Aydin] first told me I needed a chin implant, and I was like, 'I like my chin'. Then, the doctor I went to [for my nose] told me I needed a chin implant… I had two doctors telling me that I need it. Maybe I should listen to them.”

This time around, Jennifer appeared to be more pleased with her new look. "I'm excited that by the time I do my next type of filming, whenever that is, I'll be healed and my old chin will be back with my new nose that can still smell a rat," she shared in her Instagram Story. (Be sure to tune in to the Season 12 premiere on February 1 at 8/7c.)

For those wondering, neither Jennifer's summer 2021 plastic surgery nor the chin explant were done by her husband, Dr. Bill. While Jennifer flew to Turkey for the rhinoplasty and chin implant, when it came time for the removal, she turned to another plastic surgeon Bravo fans will recognize: Dr. Ramtin Kassir, a triple board-certified New Jersey plastic surgeon who has done work on Sonja MorganRHONJ alum Jacqueline Laurita's daughter Ashlee Malleo, and Margaret Josephs' mother Marge Sr

"Thank you for taking my chin implant out!" Jennifer wrote in a February 1 Instagram Story showing a smiling Jennifer dressed for surgery while posing with the doctor.
