It’s been a crazy week for Joe Gorga. After being called out for his before-and-after house flipping photos on Instagram (which, Joe said, was an assistant’s mistake), Melissa Gorga's husband is taking it all in stride. Describing the process as “very, very hard” while filming a selfie video from a construction site yesterday, Joe divulged that his latest real estate project is a massive undertaking.
“Hey what’s up, Joe Gorga here, the fraud, fake builder developer,” The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband joked in the video shared with his Instagram followers. “Here he is building a 70-unit apartment complex that I got approved. Pouring the concrete today!”
Panning over a huge lot, the video showcases a towering building in the background, as well as the foundation of a new building being laid... and ample footage of Joe’s cement and mud-covered clothes.
“Look, the real deal. Nobody can do what I do. I did this, I been here 5 o’clock in the morning, 25 years of this, baby. You can’t take that away from me. I’ve done every flip you can imagine. I grew up in the hood, I started in the hood, and now I’m here.”
As for his new project, Joe expects it to be worth a whopping 10 times his investment.
“So, I found this property for $2.6 million and I’m going to create a $25 million asset. Ya heard what I said? $25 million asset,” he said, then joking, “Maybe it’s fake, maybe it’s fraud, maybe he’s fakin’ it and it’s not his building, who knows? Right? I love you guys. I still love ya, ya know? There’s no hate here.”
