Look Inside Melissa Gorga's Incredible State-of-the-Art Basement Gym
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member interrupted Joe Gorga's workout to share a quick glimpse of the full-service exercise space in their home.
Amid self-isolation due to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Melissa Gorga doesn't have to walk out the door to get in a full workout.
In the video above, which she recorded for Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member gave viewers a look at her New Jersey mansion while sharing what her family has been up to in their recent days being homebound. She found her husband, Joe Gorga, in their basement, which boasts a full gym featuring state-of-the-art equipment including a treadmill, multiple abdominal benches, what appears to be a chest fly machine, and multi-use strength training pieces, among others. The sizable workout space is kept simple in terms of decor, save for eye-catching red walls, and one with a mirror on it to aid their exercise.
"All the gyms in Jersey are closed so we've been working out in our basement," she explained in the video, admitting: "I'm not gonna lie, I haven't been working out that much yet, but I'm going to have to start ASAP."
With the extravagant workout space being just one of many incredible rooms in the 9,100-square-foot Montville, New Jersey house (Melissa has previously shared glimpses of her stunning all-white kitchen, modern dining room, and ultra-glamorous living room), it comes as no surprise that the mom of three isn't minding the extra time at the abode. "It's not that bad to stay home," she said in the video above. "I know we all want to go crazy and go nuts because we're told to stay at home, but you can do it!"
She concluded: "Wash your hands, stay home. Let's make this end. Let's kill this disease."
