Melissa Gorga's Brand New Dining Room Is So Modern & Chic
The Real Housewives of New Jersey fashionista totally revamped her dining room, and it's gorgeous.
New season, new dining room! Though Melissa Gorga is still trying to sell her Montville, New Jersey home, that doesn’t mean she’s going to stop making design tweaks until they finally move. The Real Housewives of New Jersey boutique owner recently shared a photo of her dining room with her followers on Instagram, and it’s totally different from the one we’ve seen in seasons past!
“Dinner party 101... always wear Leopard pants from @envybymg if you want to be the hostess with the mostess,” Melissa wrote. With the holidays upon us, this is probably the best time of year to revamp a dining room — right before the onslaught of family dinners, cocktail parties, and celebratory lunches begin.
Whereas the room previously featured green and cream walls and an ornate dining set (including fringed chairs!) with a traditional cream, orange, and red rug, the room is now super sleek and modern. Melissa swapped out the green paint for a dark gray hue, and replaced the dining table with an ultra-chic concrete-topped option, pairing it with structured white leather chairs. Out, too, is the rug, which Melissa traded for a light gray option that totally brightens the room.
And while the makeover’s effect is massive — the room is definitely brighter and more cutting edge — really all Melissa did was repaint and replace the table, chairs, and rug. See the "before" image below for proof!
She kept the stately chandelier, the marble tiled floors, and the paneled walls and ceiling. Proof that you don’t need to do a big renovation to overhaul the vibe of a room!
