Melissa & Joe Gorga Share a First Look at Their New House
The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple is showing "day one of construction" on their new home.
Six months after Melissa Gorga and her family "officially said goodbye" to their Montville, New Jersey, home, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member is finally giving a peek at her new digs.
"This will [soon] be our new house! This is day one of construction!" Melissa captioned an Instagram video of the in-progress property. "I’m gonna keep posting all of the renovation as it goes along so watch [Joe Gorga] & I do what we do best!"
Melissa announced via an Instagram post that the family's former home "officially sold" in December 2020. "We’ve made so many memories in this home. We were blessed to be able to share so many of them with all of you, [Bravo] & the [RHONJ] viewers. I love that I can always watch the reruns and remember the good times we had in it," she added. "I’m excited to start new beginnings with my family."
In January, Melissa documented her family's emotional moving day. "Feels like the end of era or something," she wrote. "But I’m all about new beginnings so I’m very excited." One month later, she shared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, “I’m in a rental house right now while we’re building a new home."
Although their house is still in the construction process, Melissa already has big ideas for the decor. "I'm gonna design my new house kinda like this outfit & my persona," she wrote in a December 2020 Instagram caption. "Classy, with a little spicy mixed in."
