Melissa Gorga Dazzles at a Movie Premiere in a Pink Blazer Dress (PICS)
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom delivered another head-turning look for a recent red carpet event.
No one does movie night quite like Melissa Gorga.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom returned to the Big Apple this week for a special red-carpet screening of The Mother, an upcoming action-drama starring Jennifer Lopez and Joseph Fiennes. The star-studded event took place at New York City's Whitby Hotel, where Melissa stunned in another head-turning look.
Accompanied by her husband, Joe Gorga, Melissa stepped onto the red carpet rocking a fuchsia blazer dress by Good American — a womenswear brand co-founded by Khloé Kardashian. The mid-length design featured a double-breasted front, a sleek notched lapel, a sexy cutout detail in the back, and an elegant waist-tie that created a flattering silhouette. Although the piece was far from understated, Melissa managed to keep her ensemble both clean and chic, as she decided to hit the red carpet without a handbag or any statement jewelry. She instead opted for a few rings and a pair of open-toed strappy heels.
Melissa documented the event via Instagram on Thursday (April 4), posting photos of her outfit as well as a red carpet video that was reshared by J. Lo.
She credited her glam to celebrity makeup artist Alex Natoli, and her hair to New Jersey-based Bella Creations.
“Last night at The Mother premiere [Netflix],” she captioned an Instagram photo of her look. [Jennifer Lopez] is outstanding in it. Amazing job to a brilliant producer [Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas].”
The hot-pink moment garnered praise from other Bravolebrities, including RHONJ’s Margaret Josephs and Shahs of Sunset’s Mercedes "MJ" Javid. “Gorgeous,” the latter commented. “What a hot color!”
This isn’t the first time Melissa has shown her support for J.Lo. In 2018, she and her family attended the red carpet premiere of Jennifer’s rom-com film Second Act. More than a year later, Melissa ate cake with the multi-hyphenate following her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance in Miami.
Melissa has also credited Jennifer as one of her biggest style inspirations and would jump at the chance to swap closets with the actress/singer.
“My fashion icon is Jennifer Lopez,” she told Page Six in 2018. “I mean, she’s a triple threat!”
The Mother, directed by Niki Caro, will hit Netflix on May 12.
