The husbands of The Real Housewives of New Jersey are pretty close. Fans have witnessed their bonding on the show in the past, and now we have a firm confirmation from Jackie Goldschneider's hubby, Evan Goldschneider, that the Garden State men are BFFs and "a legitimate wolf pack" as explained when Evan and Jackie recently spoke exclusively with Bravo Insider.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

Evan revealed that "[the husbands] communicate. We’re always on group text. We legitimately like each other. We do a lot of stuff obviously off-camera that nobody knows about, and [we're] always wishing each other a happy birthday or happy holidays. We had a long text exchange [and] it was very similar to the text exchanges that I have with some of my college friends where it just kind of goes down a really immature path as well."

Jackie noted, "It’s really great, because Margaret [Josephs] and Melissa [Gorga] really are two of my very, very close friends. And to know that the husbands enjoy each other’s company just as much, it’s really nice. Nothing is forced. Nothing is fake for the show. It’s really great."

She then recalled a funny memory from last year: "At the shore this summer, Evan and Joe Gorga were working out, doing yoga, lifting weights — they really, like, have a lot in common there [laughs]."

Bill Aydin Passes Out After Day Drinking With the Boys

Being on RHONJ means that fans are interested in Evan. And he says that the fan interest in his life is "unbelievably flattering."

"I just consider myself a normal guy. So, what you see on camera, too, is me. I don’t think I’m anything special. So that’s why I’m always flattered by anybody who recognizes me from the show. I’m a normal person. I don’t think too much of myself as being different than anybody," he said. "Obviously, I’m very thankful for everything I have and amazed that there would be [viewers] honored to meet me, as people say that [laughs]. Everybody that’s a fan is great. And I love seeing Jackie. It makes her very happy to be on the show. And it’s legitimately her as well. We're just being ourselves 24/7."

Still, appearing on the show took some getting used to for Evan, who works in finance. He said that "because [Jackie] was happy, it, it made me happy. So it's kind of happy wife, happy life. But, I was legitimately happy that she was doing something that brought her joy... But in terms of any relationship [stuff], I was so happy that she was happy, and she was legitimately herself, too, which I like."

But, now, he noted that going into Season 11, "Before the season, I felt like I was a pledge, but now I feel like I’m a full brother of the show."
