The Real Housewives with the Most Fabulous Vacation Homes
The Real Housewives ladies are living large with multiple homes.
This we know: Our beloved Housewives know how to vacation in style. Sometimes they visit a luxurious resort or rent an awe-inspiring villa — like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills gang, who are headed to a chateau in Provence next week! — and as we well know, these trips have produced some of the most iconic moments in Housewives history.
But here’s what some of you might not know — many of the ’Wives actually own fabulous vacation homes. Some even have vacation homes they’ve never set foot in (we’re looking at you Erika Girardi!). Others own homes together: The Real Housewives of Dallas besties Stephanie Hollman and Brandi Redmond’s husbands actually built their lakefront Austin vacation home together. (Looking for more Housewife-level luxury, but on a regular-person budget? Tune into Best Room Wins on Wednesdays at 10/9c!)
Below we’re taking a peek at the luxurious vacation properties owned by 'Wives from coast to coat.
Dorinda Medley’s Berkshires Manor
No Housewives’ vacation home list is complete without including Dorinda Medley’s Blue Stone Manor. Located in the beautiful Berkshires in western Massachusetts, enough drama has ensued in this 11,000-square-foot, six-bedroom, 10-bathroom expanse that it’s been nicknamed the Bezerkshires!
However, Dorinda always makes it nice at Blue Stone Manor. During Christmas and even Halloween, the halls, walls and everything in between are literally decked to the nines. (Yes, even in the fish room.) And did you know her late husband, Richard, gifted it to her for their wedding?
Kameron Westcott’s Colorado Family Ski Chalet
Kameron Westcott is lucky enough to have a mother-in-law with great taste — she actually designed their Beaver Creek family home.
Within close proximity to skiing at the upscale resorts of both Vail (Ramona Singer would approve) and Beaver Creek, the home includes six bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. The house was constructed from beautiful reclaimed wood, which was originally part of an old Colorado gold mine… but we’re pretty sure Kameron is the one sitting on a gold mine with this house.
Kyle Richards’ Palm Springs Vacation Home
Kyle Richards and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, purchased their Palm Spring expanse back in 2014. The 5,800-square-foot home, which boasts six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, overlooks both the fairway of a nearby golf course and has stunning mountain views in almost every room. Any visiting Housewife can enjoy amazing indoor/outdoor living around the pristine pool.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s California Beach Bungalow
The RHOBH ladies may not have realized Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave was serious when she asked them to whip up a little something for a potluck at her Dana Point, CA Beach House during a visit in Season 8. They did, however, have a blast with a late-night dance party in the five-bedroom, three-bathroom home with a “stellar deck” that is literally on the sand overlooking the sparkling Pacific Ocean. And while Kyle Richards laughed at the idea of Lisa Vanderpump sleeping in one of the twin beds, the house actually boasts three California King suites, including the master with private patio.
Melissa Gorga’s Jersey Shore House
It’s a requirement for The Real Housewives of New Jersey ladies to vacation on the Jersey Shore, right? Melissa Gorga and her family spend their summers relaxing at their three-bedroom, two-bathroom “party house” located directly on Tom’s River. Melissa and husband Joe refer to the home as “a little love shack” and enjoy how “cozy and comfortable” it is, where they can “be on top of each other.” While it may seem like a far cry from their 10,000-square-foot Montville, New Jersey mansion (which is currently listed for $2.9 million), this waterfront vacation house is outfitted with all of the extras, from wave runners to a heated pool to a bar to an outdoor kitchen and BBQ area.
Bethenny Frankel’s Hamptons Cottage
Skinnygirl mogul Bethenny prefers to spend as much time as she can in her Bridgehampton getaway, and after seeing it, well, wouldn’t you?! Bethenny designed the home down to every last detail. Outfitted with priceless works of art (Dali! Picasso!) as well as pops of red in the kitchen and pink in daughter Bryn’s room, Bethenny keeps the house chic yet homey. Outdoors, the property boasts views of 40 acres of parkland, luscious gardens, and a modern pool. Our favorite touch? A pool house transformed into a “Bar of Yes,” perfect for a summer dance parties!
Ramona Singer’s Sprawling Hamptons Mansion
Ramona has been spending “lazy summers” with her daughter Avery and entertaining guests at her six-bedroom, six-bathrooom Hamptons estate since 1995. Following her divorce, Ramona gut renovated the Southampton home, which now has an “all-modern” look that is full of creamy white hues. Complete with water views, a tennis court, and a fabulous pool, Ramona enjoys both throwing her famous dinner parties and enjoying the silence in her beautiful master suite.
Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman’s Austin Lake House
One of the most memorable Housewives vacation homes of all time may be from The Real Housewives of Dallas. Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman’s husbands actually built the home together. Located on the shores of Lake Travis, the house is most famous for the RHOD’s cast first-ever getaway — yep, the trip where the infamous Dog-Poop-Gate came to a head and LeeAnne Locken became enraged when confronting former castmate Marie Reyes. Like we said… ah, memories.
