Dressing for winter weddings and other formal events can be tricky when you're trying to balance staying warm and looking chic. Luckily, Dorinda Medley just gave us some major styling tips via the dazzling outfit she wore yesterday for a JEZ magazine party.

The Real Housewives of New York City beauty stepped out for the event in a plunging evening gown in a champagne shade, featuring a cinched waist and a sparkly pattern. To top it off, she bundled up against last night's chilly weather in the most ladylike way: Dorinda looked like a princess in this white fur shrug layered over her gown. This shrug is especially fancy, thanks to sheer panels emblazoned with jewel embellishments.

Dangly earrings and a red lip finished off her regal look — and we're loving how she styled her platinum pixie cut with a lot of volume. "Hello night," Dorinda wrote in her Instagram #OOTD. No wonder she's always compared to her royal doppelgänger Princess Diana!

Here's a full-length look at Dorinda's elegant wintry outfit (she tagged the brands J. Mendel and Parker in her social media post). Luann de Lesseps showed up to support Dorinda, too, with her own winter cocktail look featuring knee-high boots and a classic pinstripe shift dress.
