The Sit Down
Jill shares her thoughts on Bethenny and Kelly's second showdown.
Hi everyone. I have to say I am sort of sad that the show is ending soon, but I am physically exhausted. Besides promoting the show, working, handling family responsibilities and everything associated with it, I am also working with www.Kodak.com for Mother's Day. This has been a dream for me and it is truly so organic. Everything I do is about fostering relationships and creating memories with photographs. Though Ally and I are very different, her passion for photography is something we both have in common. Please visit her site http://itsallyzarins.wordpress.com/. Shh...don't tell her I did this..she will kill me.
Last night I was a guest on CNN's Campbell Brown: No Bias No Bull. I NEVER get nervous, but this was, well, CNN! I did pull it off, and Gloria was proud. I hope to be invited back. I really enjoyed our conversation and felt very comfortable. Thank you to Roland Martin and the lovely ladies on the panel.
Last night's show was fun to watch. I was grateful Simon and Alex trusted Zarin Fabrics to make their window treatments. We had a lot of fun with the boys shopping for fabric and I am happy they were happy. I don't remember if they asked or we suggested making some colorful pillow for their new sofas, but Bobby and I brought them as a house gift. The kitchen is my favorite room and I know the family will thrive there for years to come.
To tell you the truth, Bethenny and I rarely talked about Kelly. Bethenny did mention in passing the first, shall we say, "sit down" and I really didn't believe her. It was uncomfortable for everyone and Bethenny asked me if she could come over to my apartment to meet with Kelly privately before the charity meeting. Kelly and I were starting to get to know each other and I was happy she suggested it. I was very hopeful. Sadly when they came out, they were not holding hands. I do know that Bethenny had every intention to agree to disagree and move forward, so I was really disappointed with the outcome. I see now why she said what she said to me that day and I will keep that private. I do wish Kelly the best and her children are adorable.
I don't remember saying Bethenny should date a nerdy guy but I do believe that having that special chemistry between two people really works. Some of the most charming, intelligent, sexy, distinguished men might be considered to be nerdy by Bethenny's initial standards. I just want her to have a man who encourages her to be the best she can be and not be threatened by her success.
I hope everyone's wishes and dreams come true.
XOXO
