Dorinda Medley's New Alkaline Diet Is Making Her Feel Fantastic

Dorinda Medley is on a health kick, and she doesn't care who knows it. In the video above, the 55-year-old Real Housewives of New York City mom tells "I'm at an age where I really need to feel good. My energy level needs to be up. I'm trying to be my best possible me, spiritually, physically, mentally, and it's so important that your diet is good."

As part of her best-self mission, Dorinda has embraced a popular diet that has her easing off acidic foods. "I'm all about alkaline diet, and I feel fantastic," she revealed. A cornerstone of Dorinda's new diet is her "daily shake." And while she had cameras in her kitchen, the pajama-clad Real Housewife detailed its exact ingredients.

The recipe starts with mineral supplements from Get Off Your Acid: "I use the minerals, and I use the greens," Dorinda shared. After adding three ice cubes and some almond milk to her blender, she tossed in scoops of chocolate alkaline powder, "a scoop of the greens," and a "scoop of the minerals." She also crushes up two Vitamin E capsules and adds Omega-3 supplements to the mix. And while she blends up the drink, Dorinda does a few bursts of Dooorobics

"This is delicious, nutritious," Dorinda shared. "I promise you, I promise you, this isn't just something that's not real," she added. "I feel fantastic, and people have been telling me that I look fantastic." Watch the video to get the full scoop.
