See Inside Dorinda Medley’s “Eclectic” (and Pink!) New York City Apartment
The Real Housewives of New York City mom is giving us a tour of beautiful Manhattan abode.
Following the news that Dorinda Medley is leaving The Real Housewives of New York City after six seasons, we're looking back at some of her greatest moments
Dorinda Medley’s heart may belong in the Berkshires… but she’s decidedly a city girl, too. Never was that more apparent than in her apartment in New York City’s Sutton Place neighborhood, which is just a block from the FDR and the East River.
The Real Housewives of New York City mom invited BravoTV.com over for a tour, and we need to spend a minute talking about the pops of pink throughout the gorgeous, light-filled space. In addition to not one but two pink couches, Dorinda has also lined her kitchen’s marble countertops with pink velvet stools, too.
“I love the pink, now that Hannah doesn’t live with me and I don’t have husbands living with me, and it’s just little ol’ me, I’m going pink,” Dorinda said. “I love the pink couches, I mean these things are amazing!” We couldn’t agree more.
Dorinda also revealed she always has fresh flowers that she has delivered weekly. “It’s my little treat. And it just kind of makes me happy, it’s very civilized, don’t you think?” she asked.
We love that Dorinda is going with her gut when it comes to interior design — and bucking the white/neutral trend that is currently everywhere. “I think the thing that I like about my apartment is it’s very eclectic,” she said. “I know everybody’s into this white on white on white on white, but I think your apartment should represent you and it should be a mix of high and low and people should be able to come to your apartment and know you a little better.”
