So, How Does Heather Thomson Feel About Sleeping in Ramona Singer's Lower Level?
The RHONY alum recently stayed in the room that famously did not get Luann de Lesseps' stamp of approval.
Luann de Lesseps and Heather Thomson began hashing out some drama on The Real Housewives of New York City's May 25 episode. But despite their tension, there is one thing the two seem to be in agreement on: Neither one of them was exactly honored to be assigned to the "lower level" in Ramona Singer's Hamptons home.
If you need a refresher, during an episode on Season 12 of the show, Ramona took Luann down to the area, raving, "[It has] a big, separate bathroom, its own entrance." When Luann asked if she was in the basement, Ramona clarified, "It's the lower level," and Luann had plenty to say about that. "Give me a break. A basement is a basement," she declared in an interview at the time. "It's like putting me in the attic and calling it 'the penthouse.'" (Watch the video above to relive the moment.)
Although Luann has been known to be just a bit selective about her room assignments (who can forget the epic fish room argument at Dorinda Medley's Blue Stone Manor?), Heather also had some strong feelings about staying underground. "You know, I walk in, and I felt it was a bit cold as ice and now I'm being kind of banished down to the dungeon," she said. However, Heather ultimately accepted her fate, explaining, "That's okay with me, 'cause I like a little separation."
With Heather in the lower level, Luann was ecstatic to be residing in a room upstairs. "Oh, yeah. Now that's what I'm talkin' about... This is really nice. It's about time," she said on the show's May 11 episode, before adding in an interview, "Well, this is certainly an upgrade. I went from the lower level to the penthouse suite. Thank you, Ramona."
