As a winter chill set in, The Real Housewives of New York City cast packed their resort wear and jetted to a warmer climate in Season 14, Episode 8.

“It’s the time of year when New Yorkers get antsy,” said Sai De Silva, who organized the group’s escape to the Caribbean.

You can always bank on RHONY getaways to pack surprises. This one also comes with sun, sand, surf, and a very special perk of “exclusive luxury.”

Following the flight to Anguilla, a slender 16-mile-long Caribbean island famous for white sand beaches and turquoise water, the ladies got a lift to the villa.

When the resort came within view, there was a chorus of excitement. “Is that it up there?” “Shut up!” “Are you serious?” “Good job, Sai!”

It was no wonder why.

“We’re perched on a hillside with a view of the ocean,” said general manager Patricia Bygrave. “The architectural design is Greek inspired.”

The sight of the bright white villas standing out in high-def contrast against the blue sky is breathtaking.

Long Bay Villas resort features a trio of seaside villas — Sand, Sky, and Sea — and bragging rights to “overlooking Anguilla’s most secluded beach.”

The property can be summed up “in two words – exclusive luxury,” said Bygrave. “It’s about privacy. Private pools. The only thing shared is the beach. Sea is the largest of the three villas. It’s our top seller.”

It features an oceanfront infinite pool, five bedrooms (Jessel Taank and Ubah Hassan volunteered to be roommates), deluxe bathrooms (“We have a bidet!” said Brynn Whitfield), and many more special amenities that are automatically included or can be added.

“I got a butler and a chef,” explained take-charge Sai.

The views from inside Sea Villa as well as the striking white interior décor shocked the women with the beauty.

“I can see the turquoise ocean,” said Jessel. “The villa is stunning. It looks like it belongs in Greece, all white and super airy.”

Erin Lichy’s husband, Abe, added a special touch to the vacation home, according to the Sea Villa staff.

“He surprised her with flowers,” said Bygrave.

Being pampered in the lap of exclusive luxury doesn’t come cheap, of course. Depending on the date, the prices in January 2023 ranged from $7,000 to $16,000 a night

Anguilla is a favorite for destination weddings, family gatherings, and corporate events. The Long Bay property “lends itself to a beautiful, secluded event of that nature,” said public relations manager Lindsay McCabe.

“You can rent all three villas: Sand, Sky, and Sea, or just one,” McCabe added.

The 'Wives, including Jenna Lyons, who flew to Anguilla ahead of the others, had the property to themselves. There were no other guests during their stay, according to Bygrave.

Her team came up with an itinerary for the Housewives — as they do for other guests — enabling them to make the most of Anguilla.

Those experiences included a bonfire at the secluded beach at Sea Villa; a visit to Sandy Island, an offshore key; an island adventure in open vehicles called Mokes; dining at Savi Beach Club, and a night out at Elvis Beach Bar.

Sea Villa made a big impression on the Housewives — and vice versa.

When they arrived “they were ecstatic,” said Bygrave. “Normally when I’m doing an orientation, the guests follow me. They were just all over. They were excited.”
