For some, pita chips are just something delicious to snack on. But for Leah McSweeney, a party-size bag of the crunchy goods conjure up a host of memories. Not all of them are pleasant. 

On Season 12 of The Real Housewives of New York City, Leah McSweeney brought up a guy she'd been dating; she'd nicknamed him "The Pita Chip" because he owned a kosher restaurant and pita bakery. Ultimately, the flirtation fizzled out, and Leah was feeling a bit down about it at a certain point — bummed-out enough to get flower-ripping-drunk in Newport, in fact. (See the clip above.) 

By now, the Pita Chip dude seems to ancient history. But when Leah showed up to film her first-ever RHONY reunion, she found a not-so-subtle reminder of her former fling. Capturing a snap of the snacks that were assembled for her backstage, the Married to the Mob designer zoomed in on a bag of — you guessed it — pita chips. 

"Is [Andy Cohen] messing with me?!" she wrote in her caption. Coincidence or prank, we can't say. But we can confidently recommend hummus as a pairing:
