Ramona Singer Just Revealed a Major New Career Move
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member is excitedly "training" for her next venture.
Ramona Singer has made it very clear over the years that she has strong opinions when it comes to real estate. Now, The Real Housewives of New York City cast member is turning her passion into a new career.
"Real estate broker in training," she captioned a recent Instagram photo, tagging Million Dollar Listing New York alum Michael Lorber and Douglas Elliman (the firm is home to a slew of Bravolebrity realtors including Kelly Bensimon, Josh Altman, Fredrik Eklund, and Tracy Tutor).
Ramona teased the potential of a real estate career during a 2019 get together with MDLNY agents Ryan Serhant and Luis Ortiz. "Hanging with the best real estate agents in NYC," she wrote. "Don’t you think I would make a great addition to [MDLNY?]"
The gathering, which was documented on MDLNY's Season 8 finale, was at an open house that Ryan and Luis hosted to attempt to find a buyer for their incredible co-listing at the time. Although Ryan explained in an interview during the episode, “Normally I lead buyers around an open house,” Ramona wasted no time openly expressing her opinion on the abode.
As she declared she would "change the floor," and that the kitchen island "just doesn't work," Luis noted, "the aesthetics of the place don't reflect the price," to which Ramona bluntly offered, "Well maybe that's why it hasn't sold."
“I just know what I did to sell my apartment. I’m just giving you my feedback," she added. "Décor is like fashion. This is not in fashion.”
While she appeared to disagree with the agents' selling tactic at the time, Ramona was much more on board with Sonja Morgan's recent renovation to her townhouse, which she put back on the market in March for $10.75M. "I love this room," Ramona said on RHONY's September 3 episode as she entered Sonja's new-and-improved bedroom. "There's nothing I think you should change."
