Ramona Singer's Super Bowl Spread Was Complete with a Perfectly On-Theme Cake
The RHONY hostess had a sports-themed cake imported from an Italian bakery in New Jersey.
Once again, the Real Housewives proved what we all know to be true: Super Bowl Sunday is mostly about the snacks — and just a little bit about the game. (Wait, who was playing, again?) So while Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice flipped over some hummus and Melissa Gorga had cake with Jennifer Lopez, Ramona Singer showed off an impressive Super Bowl spread of her own.
On Instagram Stories, The Real Housewives of New York City mom announced: "This is my Super Bowl spread, and I'm moving next week, so [it's the] last." Ramona pulled a smart move and asked her guests to each bring a dish, so there was a hearty spread and a laid-back hostess.
The smorgasbord included meatballs, assorted cheeses, pigs in a blanket made by her daughter Avery, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, and — for the pièce de résistance — a football-shaped cake.
One of Ramona's guests wrangled the football cake from an Italian bakery in New Jersey (where all the fab cakes come from), and explained that it was vanilla cake with chocolate icing. There was even green sprinkled turf piped around the edges.
Ramona might have had a slight sugar buzz by the time she posted the next video: "Oh yeah! Go Chiefs! Go Chiefs! Woo hoo!" she trilled.
