Sonja Morgan Opens up About Her Recent Lower Facelift and Neck Lift
"I lifted the drapes again — this time permanently," The Real Housewives of New York City entrepreneur shared.
Sonja Morgan's Season 12 reunion look was one for the books. The Real Housewives of New York City entrepreneur dazzled in a gorgeous Marc Bouwer dress featuring a jeweled collar, which she paired with one of the most luxe face masks we've ever seen. But perhaps even more noteworthy was her recently touched-up face and new 'do.
As soon as Part 1 of the sit-down kicked off, Andy Cohen quickly noticed Sonja's new look. "Lady Morgan, I love your hair and there's something else a little different about you, right?" he asked.
Explaining her new appearance, featuring a sleek angled bob, Sonja revealed that she wanted to look like Ellen Barkin. "I'm very inspired by her — her strength and her wit and her intelligence. And she's so talented," she shared.
As for the "something else a little different," Sonja confirmed, "Yeah, I lifted the drapes again — this time permanently. I had the neck lift and the lower [face]lift."
Sonja first unveiled the results from her lower facelift and neck lift in July with before-and-after pictures on Instagram. She explained, "I just wanted to be rid of the wrinkling on my neck and the [jowls] that were starting to form. People thought I was nuts because it was so subtle. But not to me! It was a no-brainer – gravity had taken its toll, I was also exhausted and I needed a 'pick me up.'"
