Bethenny Frankel Shut Down a "Moron" Who Tweeted About Her In-Flight Food Allergy Incident
The Real Housewives of New York City pal didn't hesitate to clarify a remark regarding that flight.
Next time you find yourself groaning over a slight airport delay, just remember what happened to Bethenny Frankel: The Real Housewives of New York City pal boarded a flight, only to find out that the on-board meal was seafood — and she has a potentially lethal food allergy, so mere exposure to the meal could have killed her. (Yes, she had called ahead. Multiple times.)
Though media reports initially suggested Bethenny's plane turned around mid-flight, the actual event did not involve a diversion. Instead, the pilot reportedly announced that he was willing to turn the flight around, but ultimately did not. Nevertheless Bethenny was humiliated as well as in the line of danger — and the incident has fueled her passion to help spread awareness about how airborne pathogens might affect passengers. Not that everyone's on board (so to speak) with that crusade...
After smacking down Twitter trolls who suggested she just fly private, Bethenny is once again on clap-back duty. On January 24, a user tweeted at her: "Lord how many more times are you gonna talk about this s---. At some point you gotta get new talking points. Bottom line, you got an entire plane of people brought back to the terminal due to your self made dramas. A smart business women, yes, a drama queen, yes."
Here's how Bethenny responded: "That did not happen. The plane never turned around & I will talk about it until it gets changed. I can explain it to you but I can’t understand it for you. All of my relief work wouldn’t happen if I listened to morons like you who told me to stop & be quiet. Know your facts :)"
It's the smiley face that really seals the clapback, don't you think?
For the last time: You don't. Want to mess. With Bethenny.
