Bethenny Frankel Claps Back After Twitter Tells Her to Just Fly Private to Avoid Food Allergy Danger
The Real Housewives of New York City's Bethenny Frankel encountered serious on-board drama and risk.
Bethenny Frankel's food allergy put her in potential peril again this week, when she boarded a plane and realized that the flight crew was serving fish. In a closed environment such as an airplane cabin, that ingredient could have triggered the "rare fish allergy" that nearly killed her just weeks ago. Bethenny's tweets about the incident led followers to believe that her plane had turned around because of the occurrence, but she later clarified that the plane did not actually turn. Of course, the danger to her on a commercial aircraft was no less real.
So, Bethenny's Twitter followers asked, why doesn't The Real Housewives of New York City businesswoman simply fly private to spare herself both the danger and the drama?
Well, she explained — there are reasons for that.
For one thing, although Bethenny said she's "fortunate enough to do that some times," she called it a "massive waste and not environmentally friendly if doing solo."
To another fan's suggestion that she could just buy her own private plane, Bethenny said, "I aint got it like that. And I want to work less not more."
After polite exchanges with followers, one took a tone that triggered Bethenny's snark. "Heard of a private flight?" the follower tweeted. Bethenny clapped back, "No I haven’t. What is that? For people who are very private?"
