Let's just say the RHOC universe has plenty of feelings toward Emily's marriage. So, what are Emily's thoughts on it all?

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Peacock and the Bravo App.

At the Housewife 2 Housewife panel at BravoCon 2019, Emily let her stance be known loud and clear. When a fan asked Emily how she deals with all of the criticism concerning her life and marriage, Emily shared: "I understand that people have opinions because of what they see, but obviously there’s more to someone’s personality than just what’s on the show. At the end of the day, I try not to take it personally. It’s my life, it’s my marriage, it’s my husband, and that’s just the way it is."

After her response, a fan also asked Emily for an update on Shane's law career. "He actually retook the bar in July and the results came back yesterday at 5 o'clock and he never checked," she revealed, leaving the audience in suspense.

In October, Emily confirmed reports that Shane did not pass the bar exam we saw him studying for this season on RHOC. "It was a huge thing in our family that was like everybody sacrificing so Shane could take the bar exam. So it's like, I'm taking care of the kids, his parents are helping, his sister's helping, it was like the whole Simpson family was all running around doing all these things so he could take the bar exam," she told The Daily Dish. "And then for him not to pass, it was pretty devastating."
