You’ll Never Guess Which Room in Dubrow Chateau Is Heather’s Favorite

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is shocking us all with this news.

The Dubrow Chateau is oozing with decadent details and rooms. Remember the master bathroom with the sitting area and fireplace? Or Heather Dubrow’s office with the floor-to-ceiling sparkle curtains? Or the stairwell with its magnificent light installation? The manse is chock full of incredible rooms… which is why I was a bit flabbergasted when Heather announced this week that her favorite room in the 22,000-square-foot home is the laundry room of all places!

But, of course, this isn’t your grandmother’s laundry room. Nope. It comes with a lucite chandelier, two sets of washers and dryers, the biggest island I’ve ever seen, porcelain floors, and what appears to be endless storage tucked behind stately cabinetry. “This room, it needed to be fancy,” said The Real Housewives of Orange County alum in her YouTube video series Heather’s Closet. “I don’t care that it’s the laundry room, I just wanted it to be fun and gorgeous and amazing, and I’m obsessed with it.”

And listen, I get it. When you have four kids you have a lot of laundry — believe me, I know this firsthand, as I also have four children and sometimes feel as if half my life is devoted to washing, folding, and putting away other people’s clothing (and yes, I hate it!). Which is why I appreciate Heather’s love of a rather humdrum room. I too, would feel elated to be folding jeans and sweatshirts amidst sparkle wallpaper and the world’s tidiest wrapping station. Laundry wouldn’t be such a chore when you’re doing it in a room that beautiful! Watch the full video below and catch up on RHOC here!
