A Little Too Much Reality

Tamra explains why she was dreading this episode and gives her thoughts on the Peggy/Alexis situation.

By Tamra Judge

The one episode we were dreading. . .yikes. . .a little too much reality!

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

The argument we had was a little deeper than what the viewers saw. Alcohol and the cameras just added to the situation and things got crazy.

Earlier that day Eddie had taken his whole staff out for employee appreciation day. . . on a boat! He got sea sick and the last thing he wanted to do was get on another boat. So, he started drinking to make himself feel better. Eddie is not a drinker, so when he started getting chummy with Vicki, I was throw off a little by his behavior. I know how I reacted was wrong, and he wasn't hitting on Vicki. When I put Brooks' hand on my breast I did it for the shock factor and really didn't expect Eddie to get mad since Vicki and Brooks are like family, and I was totally joking. I'm not going to lie, it was getting a little annoying seeing Vicki and Eddie being a little too chummy. I know in my heart that nothing was going on. I just had a moment. . .and not a good one!

Vicki and Eddie Have a Moment

Vicki was a good sport and knew I was joking and laughed it off. When Eddie got mad there was this awkward silence and I thought "Oh crap what have I done, IT WAS A JOKE." Bottom line, we recovered quickly and there is now a running joke -- "I'm the owner of that hot dog stand (Eddie) and no one is going to be touching his buns."

The next day we went zip-lining and had a beautiful lunch on the water. Vicki was over-the-top funny and dramatic while ziplining. I could not help but busting her chops. It is so nice to see Vicki happy and in love. When I say I have my eye on Brooks, I am just be protective of my friend. Vicki has gone through a lot and I want nothing more than for her to be happy.

Zip It!

The drama between Peggy and Alexis is beyond repairable. Peggy was friends with Jim and Alexis for four years and asked Jim if she could tell Alexis about their past relationship -- and he kept saying "No." I know for a fact that Peggy felt bad for keeping it a secret, and I'm not saying what she did was right. She put herself in a bad situation by being friends with them and not saying anything to Alexis. But for Jim to keep it a secret from his wife and bring Peggy around was straight out wrong. Alexis keeps justifying it by saying they don't talk about their past relationships. That's all fine and dandy in my book, as long as your past isn't in your present. I think with all that has happened between them it's safe to say they won't be friends again. Me and Vicki always joke -- "If I find out you slept with my man I'll kill ya."

I thought Gretchen's breast cancer photo shoot was beautiful. As you know, I don't think there is anything wrong with showing some skin for charity. Speaking of giving back, me and Vicki have started a wine of the month club called WinesbyWives.com. Our motto is "women giving back to women." A percentage of the proceeds will go to breast cancer research and battered woman's shelters. We have been working very hard and can't wait to share it with everyone.

Sorry for the short blog but life is crazy right now. I will be on Watch What Happens: Live next Tuesday. See you next week!
