Braunwyn Windham-Burke has started a major new chapter in her life. After opening up about her sobriety and coming out as a lesbian, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member has recently noted that “it feels so good to be living my truth.” In addition to the freedom of living her life as she chooses, Braunwyn is also making some other exciting changes to reflect her new attitude. 

In a series of Instagram Stories in which Braunwyn invited her followers to ask her anything they’d like, one user posed the question, “Has your style changed since coming out?” The mom of seven revealed that it absolutely has, showing a fabulous photo of her edgy reunion look as proof. 

“I have a new FU attitude,” Braunwyn wrote. “Combat boots are just it for me.” 

Braunwyn’s Season 15 reunion look is truly next level, and the black leather Gucci combat boots were the badass cherry on top. Her look also included a Harper Couture black dress with floral appliqués, and a scandalous high-low hemline. 

In a December 23 post, Braunwyn shared her inspiration for the look, writing, “Channeling my inner Lara Croft.” 

Combat boots really are a great look for Braunwyn, who has turned out some incredible looks in lace-up boots throughout the past few months. In September, she styled a pair with a chunky block heel with some black joggers, and a grey off-the-shoulder top. 

Braunwyn even made a case for rocking combat boots in the summer, when she paired some white patent leather Dr. Martens with black cutoff shorts.
