There was something about The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member, however, that we never knew until now. During an “Ask Me a Question” session with Bravoholics on her Instagram Stories on December 13, Emily responded to a follower who wondered if she would ever get a tattoo.

Emily’s answer explains why we haven’t spotted a tattoo in any of the gorgeous swimsuit pics she’s posted over the years, such as a 2020 snapshot of herself in a curve-flattering one-piece swimsuit to celebrate a special occasion.

“Saying one last goodbye to 43, and looking forward to what life will bring at age 44,” she wrote at the time.

In the video above, Emily explains that using her privilege as a public figure and sharing swimsuit shots has actually encouraged other women to do the same, with numerous fans reaching out to her with their confidence-boosting stories.

“I just wanted to use this platform to educate women and to give them confidence and to talk about how we really need to build each other up and that there is no perfect body or perfect figure,” she says in the video. “It’s whatever you feel comfortable in and whatever’s healthy for you.”
