Emily Simpson's House Is Glowing for Christmas (PICS)
The RHOC cast member added some holiday cheer to her family' SoCal abode.
Emily Simpson’s Spanish-style home is pretty lit… like, literally.
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom returned to Instagram this week to unveil her 2023 outdoor Christmas decorations. Emily uploaded a brief video that showed twinkling bright lights around the home’s front-facing rooflines as well as several palm trees in her front yard. Although the decor was relatively simple, it added a majestic yet sophisticated touch to the lush, green landscaping.
Emily credited the decor to OC Light Bright, a SoCal-based business that specializes in residential and commercial holiday light installations. The company reshared Emily’s December 3 post in an Instagram Story: “Beautiful! Thank you for being our client,” OC Light Bright captioned the video. “We appreciate you very much.”

Emily showed off the Christmas transformation just weeks after gushing over her home’s new outdoor lighting. The volunteer attorney revealed the stunning additions in a series of videos, which showed her trees and shrubs glowing with dramatic ground lighting by Artistic Illumination.
“You know you’re old when you get really excited about your new landscaping lighting,” she captioned an Instagram Story.
Emily Simpson's Home Renovations
Emily lives in the OC home along with her attorney husband, Shane Simpson, and their three young kids: twin sons Luke and Keller, and daughter Annabelle. The ’Wife has been renovating her house for more than a year and occasionally takes to Instagram to provide updates. She’s made changes to her pantry and kids’ playroom, as well as her various fireplaces and the family/formal room.
She showcased the latter renovation in an August 2022 Instagram Story, explaining her overall vision for the space.
“The formal living room, or family room [is] that room where you try to keep your kids out of so they don’t destroy anything,” she said, adding that the rooms were a “great space for the kids and the family to hang out.”
“Will my house ever be done?” she asked in another 2022 Instagram Story. “I haven’t even started remodeling the kitchen yet. At this point I think it would be easier to move.”
Will Emily Simpson ever move out of the OC?
While it seems Emily has no immediate plans to leave her Orange County home, she made it clear that the move will happen “someday.” She touched on the topic during a 2022 Q&A session, saying that she and Shane will eventually leave California and “likely” end up in Wyoming or Utah, where they lived years before moving to Orange County.
