Emily Simpson Shares an Incredibly Bright Update on Her Home (PICS)
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member can't hold back her excitement about a new feature of her California abode.
Emily Simpson is feeling the glow of home improvement. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member recently took to Instagram Stories to share a peek at the new lighting outside her California home, which you can tour in the clip above.
In her caption, the volunteer attorney quipped: "You know you're old when you get really excited about your new landscaping lighting." But as the accompanying photos proved, anyone would get a thrill from the bright new exterior of Emily's home.
Lined with palm trees, the pathway to her front door looks lighter and brighter than ever before. Plus, it's decked with adorable seasonal decorations. With Halloween around the corner, Emily has filled her front stoop with artfully placed pumpkins that cascade down her front steps. Between the gourds and the gorgeous new lights, Emily's home is looking very welcoming, indeed.
Emily Simpson's New Exterior Lighting
On October 18, Emily had given a closeup look at her pumpkin-festooned stoop by daylight. "Thank you [The Pumpkin Princess Company] for making my house magical," she wrote to caption an Instagram Story video that showed her front steps and yard.
A couple of days before that on October 16, the fitness buff showed how she's decorating the interior of her home this season. She hopped on her Instagram Stories to share a look at bouquets of yellow, orange, red, and white flowers.
"Went to Trader Joe's and bought a bunch of flowers," Emily wrote over the video, which was set to the Flo Rida track "Good Feeling." She later added the bright bouquets to tables throughout her house and showed off the festive arrangements in her Stories.
But Emily's latest posts showed off her Halloween decor in a whole new light — literally.
Emily's home improvement project doesn't end with her exterior. In early August, she showed off her formal living room which was undergoing renovation. “Will my house ever be done?” she asked in a caption. “I haven’t even started remodeling the kitchen yet. At this point, I think it would be easier to move.”
For the moment, the California mom doesn't have any plans to give up her beautifully lit home. However, in the past, she has opened up about where she would move if she and her family ever decided to change locales.
In a 2022 "Ask Me Anything" session on Instagram the lega buff shared that she will move out of California "someday." As for where she and her family would relocate, Emily stated, “Most likely Utah. Maybe Wyoming.”'
