Emily Simpson Reveals Her Future Plans to Move Back to Utah
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member is craving "more land, more space and horses."
Emily Simpson has a pretty glam setup in Orange County, where she and her family live in a gorgeous mansion replete with its own movie theater and lagoon-style pool (take a tour in the clip above). But The Real Housewives of Orange County mama doesn't plan to live in the OC forever, and in a recent Instagram post she revealed which state she's eyeing for future moves.
In an Ask Me Anything thread, a fan wrote in to ask: "If you could live anywhere in the U.S. besides Cali, where would you choose?" In response, Emily wrote: "We will move back to Utah eventually ... I need more land, more space and horses."
Emily and her husband, Shane, lived in Utah before relocating to the Golden State, and Emily has reflected fondly on her time in her previous home. In a 2019 Instagram post, for example, she shared a photo of herself cozied up to a gorgeous chestnut horse as the sun beat down on her.
"Happy [throwback Thursday] to when life was much simpler," she wrote then. "I woke up every morning to the view of [Utah] mountains and I rode horses almost every day."
And even while she's living in Southern California, Emily still gets her Utah fix. She and her family have taken some luxurious vacations there, and she's captured sweeping mountain views, sprawling vacation digs, and train rides along the way.
