Emily Simpson Wants to Clear Something Up About Her Daughter Annabelle’s Hair
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member had an “FYI” to share with her followers.
Emily Simpson has always been super supportive of her daughter, Annabelle, most recently opening up about the 10-year-old’s burgeoning modeling career.
In the video above, which is a clip from Season 17 Episode 4 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Emily opens up about supporting her tween’s interest in professional modeling. “Annabelle just like came out of the womb with this huge personality,” she says in an episode interview. “She’s been interested in modeling for many years. I just wanted to make sure that she’s to the point where she would take it seriously, and I feel like we’re finally there.”
Emily went on to share an exciting update on Season 17 Episode 5, which aired on July 5. “Annabelle signed with a modeling agency,” Emily noted in an interview, adding, “I think Annabelle modeling at her age right now is a good thing for her because she would have to be somewhere on time, she has to be respectful. She needs a little professionalism in her life. She’s wild.”
She added in the episode: “Being around my kids all the time and being so invested in their life, it really brings up a lot of memories about my own childhood. You know, when you’re growing up, you don’t know that your mom should get up with you every morning and make sure you have breakfast. No one did that for me, and that’s kind of weird, kind of sh-tty… And I think as parents, our goal is to do better than the generation before us, which isn’t that high of a threshold, honestly.”
As Emily embarks on her life as a stage mom, she’s sharing more details about her daughter via Instagram.
Emily Simpson shares details about her daughter Annabelle’s hair
On August 15, the West Coast mom popped onto her Instagram Stories to share some behind-the-scenes photos of Annabelle getting her hair done at Salon by Riri in Orange County. She also cleared up any confusion about her daughter’s honey-blonde hair hue.
“FYI I don’t color her hair and never have,” Emily wrote over the snapshot of her daughter at the salon, further clarifying what she got done. “She got a haircut and curled.”
Emily Simpson embraces her “momager” role
In July, Emily took to her Instagram Stories to share some outtakes of her daughter wearing different looks for Carmen Sol, a New York City–based brand specializing in recyclable and vegan fashion.
“Earning her money,” Emily captioned one of the Stories, adding the hashtag “momager.” The shoot was centered around Carmen Sol’s jelly shoulder bags and Italian-crafted children’s slides. Annabelle mostly posed for shots near a waterfront Ferris wheel to show off the pieces.
