Heather Dubrow Had the Most "Gorgeous" Black Rose Cake
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is celebrating the season with a darkly elegant "dessert surprise."
At Dubrow Chateau, the rooms are exquisitely designed — and so are the Halloween treats. Heather Dubrow and her family have a past with gorgeous seasonal goodies, and their trick-or-treat feasts have included candy-corn martinis, spidery cookies, and cauldrons filled with edible slime. And even though Heather's not going huge with Halloween decor this year, she isn't skimping on the sweets.
In her recent Instagram Stories, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared that she'd ordered a "series of Halloween treats" for her kiddos. The first one to arrive was a spookily elegant dessert from We Take the Cake. Holding up the confection, which was covered in black frosted rosettes, Heather said: "Look at how gorgeous this cake is... All right, now we're gonna cut it open. Check this out!"
The slicing took place at the kitchen table, where Heather's daughters were intently gazing at... their phones. "They are so excited," the Orange County mama quipped in her caption, adding an eye-rolling emoji.
But even the teenagers couldn't resist oohing over the cake's crimson exterior when it was revealed. "Wow! Red velvet Halloween cake," Heather said. Indeed, the "dessert surprise" looks garishly good.
