Vicki Gunvalson Shares an Exciting Update on Her Son, Michael Wolfsmith
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum revealed that her son recently made a major real estate move.
Vicki Gunvalson returned to The Real Housewives of Orange County for a cameo during Season 17 Episode 8, and unsurprisingly, real estate was immediately a topic of conversation between her and Tamra Judge. After Vicki explained that she’s been splitting her time between Newport Beach, Puerto Vallarta, and Coto de Caza, she went on to share an exciting home-related update about her son, Michael Wolfsmith.

“Michael bought another house in Pacific Beach, California,” Vicki said in an episode interview.
Michael previously bought a different home in the same area in 2017. “Congratulations [Michael] on his new home,” Vicki wrote at the time, noting that the house had three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
In 2021, Vicki revealed that Michael had moved to Hawaii. “Thanks [Mike] for taking me out tonight to meet your new friends,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “It’s good to know [you’re] in good hands here in Waikiki, as it seems you have met some great people who love you.” In his own Instagram post in 2021, Michael shared a look inside his Hawaii home. “New view from our living room!” he wrote. “Still need to set up my desk and all my stuff. Hoping to have this place in Hawaii for the rest of my life no matter where I go next (if I go anywhere).”
In a comment, Michael clarified that although he had been living in Hawaii for the past nine months, he “recently made it permanent.”
Vicki Gunvalson is building a new condo in Puerto Vallarta
Vicki also made a big real estate move recently. After buying her second condo in Puerto Vallarta in January, Vicki shared a progress update on July 18. “I’m here at my condo that I’m building, and it’s moving along,” she said.
In a separate clip, Vicki explained why she bought another property in Puerto Vallarta after moving into her beautiful “vacation/retirement house” there in 2020.
“I love Puerto Vallarta, as most of you know. The condo that I’m in the process of owning, building… [is] going to be rental income for my retirement,” she explained in a video filmed in her current condo. “So I’m looking forward to that thing getting finished, but I am not getting rid of this one. This is the most incredible place ever that I’ve owned [for] almost three years now, and I just love it here.”
