Candiace Dillard's "in Your Face" Reunion Dress Is Designed to Be a "Hater Blocker"

Candiace Dillard came to play — or slay, rather — for The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 4 reunion. The RHOP petite powerhouse knows what she's doing when it comes to style. In an exclusive interview with The Lookbook backstage at the reunion, Candiace revealed all the overtly over-the-top and subtle ways that she had her look crafted especially for this evening. "So they went ahead and had my thing made," the Maryland native explained. "So it is fresh off the sewing machine or whatever you call it. Karen Sabag, who did my wedding gown stayed again. It's a whole moment. It's feathers and a ruffle and there's boning so it stays in place." 

From the cut of the dress down to the shoes on her feet, Candiace thought of every detail as a way to combat the drama that reunions are so famous for. "I call it a 'hater blocker'. It sits up so nice and high. Whoever's over here that's trying me is just gonna get a whole lot of feathers. Just BAM! In your face." 

Even her bow-detail, ivory heels are part of her overall theme. "And my shoe... Jimmy Choo... you did that. It's just all a moment. And it's a very asymmetric moment, if you understand. And you'll see that when you see it. My jewelry is asymmetric. My gown is asymmetric. So I am just giving you asymmetrical realness."
