Karen Huger's Hairstylist Explains Her Reunion Ponytail
The Potomac Housewife's hairstylist, Steven Thomas, responds after some people questioned the hair look.
As expected, Karen Huger made a fabulous appearance at The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 reunion. The grande dame dazzled in a super sexy yellow dress that featured sheer, embellished overlay and a thigh-high slit. However, it appears some people are questioning Karen's choice of hairstyle for the highly-anticipated sit-down.
Karen paired her pale yellow frock with a sleek and glamorous ponytail that cascaded past her waist. The lewk was created by none other than Karen's trusted hairstylist, Steven Thomas, who created the style by using the "Victoria" wig from La'Dame by Karen Huger X RPGShow. Recently, Thomas took to IG to put the critiques to rest and explain why the glam duo decided on this hairstyle.
"So I’ve seen a lot of comments in the blogs saying 'why did he do a ponytail,'" Thomas shared on Instagram along with a close-up snap of Karen's look. He explained, "One, ponytails [look] amazing on her. Two, we were not allowed on set under no circumstances."
Ahead of the reunion on December 13, Karen shared several snaps of her fierce look from all angles. "People come for me all the time; they just can’t find me," she captioned one of the photos, quoting her own iconic line from Season 1.
"Standing strong. La Dame is in the building," she added in another post.
