The Potomac Housewives Stun in Jaw-Dropping Yellow Reunion Dresses for Season 5
Get an exclusive first look at The Real Housewives of Potomac ladies' dazzling reunion ensembles with sexy and unexpected silhouettes.
In Season 5, the fashion on The Real Housewives of Potomac has been unmatched. Ahead of the premiere, Candiace Dillard Bassett counted down the days to Season 5 with a series of high-voltage photo shoots, including one in which she posed nude. Then, Karen Huger's shaggy pixie and orange puff sleeve interview dress were instantly iconic from the moment they appeared on screen.
Monique Samuels' interview ensembles took us on a journey through the past, while new mom Ashley Darby changed things up in the hair department. Newcomer Wendy Osefo quickly proved that she can hang with the best of them, appearing in fabulous style right out of the gate. Robyn Dixon launched the most coveted hats of the year. And Gizelle Bryant's statement-making outfits have caught the attention of Bravo stars from coast to coast.
Still, nothing could prepare us for what was to come when Gizelle, Ashley, Candiace, Robyn, Karen, Wendy, and Monique reunited with host Andy Cohen for the Season 5 reunion. The ladies blessed us with a slew of show-stopping ensembles in the most unexpected reunion hue. Bravo Insider has the exclusive first look at Potomac's most stylish bunch in shades of marigold, canary, golden poppy, and everything in between.
Gizelle Bryant
Before saving host Andy Cohen from a reunion beauty disaster, Gizelle slipped into an asymmetrical canary frock with silver embellishments on the shoulder and hip. Fun fact: The Lisa Nicole Collection gown was custom designed for Gizelle by Married to Medicine alum Lisa Nicole Cloud!
The EveryHue Beauty founder accessorized with a pair of strappy silver Sophia Webster heels, sparkling drop earrings, and a bunch of statement rings by House of Emmanuele. Gizelle's go-to hairstylist Kalixto Blount created a stunning pin-straight, super long hair look and makeup artist Carli L. Styles gave her a radiant glow.
Ashley Darby
This isn't Ashley's first maternity reunion slay. Currently pregnant with her second child, the mom once again turned to designer Shari Henry for a custom maternity reunion look. She cradled her growing bump in a sunny off-the-shoulder number, complete with a cape with a vibrant multicolor underside and a thigh-high slit. Her gold heel sandals were by Aldo, while her dainty baubles from Bloomingdales kept the focus on the dress.
Ashley appears to have added subtle red strands to her hair, which was styled by Yancey Edwards. Makeup artist Jojo Rodriguez played off of the colors in her dress for a stunning makeup look.
Candiace Dillard Bassett
This fashionista never shies away from a dramatic style moment, and the Season 5 reunion was no exception. Candiace's Karen Sabag column dress featured a giant yellow statement bow and a sparkling gold bodice. She finished her ensemble — styled by her style team, A Guy and a Gurl — with ankle strap Louboutins, vintage Chanel jewels, and a ring by Alexander McQueen.
The former pageant queen's high ponytail braid comes courtesy of hairstylist Stephanie Harris, and Kendell Dempster created her dazzling beauty look with fluttery lashes and a nude lip.
Robyn Dixon
The mom of two was the picture of elegance in a high-neck, long-sleeve marigold gown from Deja Vu Boutique. The hat designer picked Nicole Rose Jewelry and Gianvito Rossi shoes to top her look, but her best accessory had to be her custom Nicole Rose Jewelry diamond halo engagement ring with pink morganite center.
Shirley Gordon styled Robyn's hair into a sleek bob with a side part. Makeup artist Nikki Fraser Lemon created a moody beauty look with a deep burgundy lip color.
Karen Huger
Potomac's grande dame made a grand entrance in a super sexy pale yellow frock with a sheer, embellished overlay. The asymmetrical number, by Esé Azénabor Luxury Designs, featured a single sheer sleeve, a plunging neckline, a high slit, and a dramatic train. Her stylist, Jeremy Haynes, dreamt up the show-stopping look, which included René Caovilla heels and Natasha Collection earrings.
This year, Karen has proved herself to be quite the hair chameleon — but it seems she saved her best look for last. Steven Thomas styled her locks into an ultra long, thigh-grazing sleek and straight ponytail, which she wore draped over one shoulder. Smoky eye makeup and a glossy pink pout, crafted by Tatiana Ward, finished off her look.
Wendy Osefo
The newest cast member made her reunion debut in fabulous fashion. The political commentator stunned in a silky, crystal-embellished Esé Azénabor Atelier number with a peplum high-low train. If you think Wendy's gorgeous, strappy René Caovilla heels look familiar, check out what Karen's wearing on her feet! (By the way, this isn't the first time there was a shoe twinning moment at a Housewives reunion: Erika Girardi and Lisa Rinna had matching pumps at the RHOBH Season 7 sit-down.)
Wendy's hair was styled into soft, romantic waves by Dallas Whitcher. Makeup artist Merrell Hollis gave her a radiant beauty look, complete with smoky eyes and a glossy lip.
Monique Samuels
Hot mama! Monique's glittering nude-illusion gown, courtesy of Riley Knoxx Couture, hugged her gorgeous curves in all the right places and showed off her glowing skin. She accessorized with baubles by Jacob & Co.
Monique's go-to makeup artist, Jeff Enriquez, created her divine beauty look, while hairstylist Natalie Wong-Sang was behind her chic, asymmetrical bob.
