The Real Housewives of Potomac couple had the most elegant celebration to toast 25 years of marriage.
On the October 31 episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, it was finally time for Karen Huger and Ray Huger's vow renewal celebration in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary. After Karen sent out invitation boxes containing live butterflies on the show's October 24 episode, it was clear that the event would be totally over-the-top, and the Grande Dame did not disappoint.
In an interview during the episode, Karen declared, "I need to make sure every mother f--king thing is in place for this wedding," and, of course, she did just that. As she walked into the venue, Virginia's Platinum Wedding Event and Decor, Karen was blown away by the final setup. "This is stunning," she said. "This is just everything."
The two-story venue was transformed with hundreds of white flowers, candles, and glittering accent pieces that created the most romantic vibe.
At an upstairs bar, Karen and Ray's loved ones were offered wine, champagne, and a specialty cocktail called "The Hugerknot:" a combination of Rosé All Day Prosecco, light watermelon juice, mint, and a lemon garnish. The food for the party included crab balls, a jerk chicken salad, a cajun shrimp salad, a strawberry kale salad, and chicken stuffed with brie, spinach, and shallots.
No Real Housewife's event is complete without a stunning cake, and for their special day, the couple chose a 3-tier confection by Creative Cakes that was decorated with flowers and a sparkling "25."
