Karen Huger’s Daughter, Rayvin, Just Debuted a Dramatic Hair Change: See Her Major “Chop”
The Real Housewives of Potomac daughter is rocking a stunning, drastically different new ’do.
In February, we caught up with Karen Huger and her daughter, Rayvin, as they attended the 2023 Fall Ready-to-Wear show for Luar, celebrating the 2022 CFDA American Accessory winner’s clothing collection at New York Fashion Week. For the occasion, the mother-daughter duo served up some incredibly chic looks. We also couldn’t take our eyes off Rayvin’s stunning hairstyle for the event.
Rayvin opted for a Marilyn Monroe aesthetic for her hair, wearing a short style of bouncy black curls. She also got glamorous with her makeup, wearing thick cat-eye liner, luscious lashes, and a bright red lip that perfectly matched her red lacquered trench coat by Julia Allert.
As for Karen, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member went for a sexy menswear vibe with a double-breasted blazer with black satin lapels, matching black slacks, a white button-down shirt, and a black-and-white striped tie.
Contrary to her Marilyn moment, we’ve mostly seen Rayvin with long, luscious locks. Until recently, that is.
Rayvin Huger’s Haircut
On August 13, Rayvin took to her Instagram Stories to announce a “[big] chop,” sporting a super-short haircut with a deep side part. In the photo, Rayvin wore a white T-shirt and overalls as she sat in the grass, showing off her short and sweet locks in a laid-back setting.
The Maryland native shared the photo on her main Instagram page as well, writing, “Back [to] my roots.”
“My hometown girl,” proud mom Karen wrote in the comments.
Rayvin Huger’s Met Gala Look
In addition to her recent stint at New York Fashion Week with her mom, Rayvin attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art gala back in May, wearing a strapless black gown with a fitted corset bodice and a diamond choker necklace.
“[S]econd time’s a charm,” Rayvin captioned a May 2 Instagram post, sharing a slew of photos that showed off her elegant look and gorgeous sideswept hair.
Rayvin’s cheeky caption referred to her also attending the event in 2022. For that occasion, the New York resident wore an asymmetrical black gown and pointed-toe heels with sparkly straps. “So this happened,” Rayvin captioned an Instagram photo from the evening.
After last year’s event, Karen talked about her daughter’s experience during NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation, noting how thrilled she was about her appearance — although she did have a couple questions.
“I just want to know, when is she going to bring her mother onto the carpet? Hello, everyone, can I get an invite?” Karen joked. “Come on now.”
She added: “Rayvin has her life here in Manhattan. I’m super proud of her… I’m a doting parent still, for now and ever.”
