Robyn Dixon Shares "Huge" Career Update: "I'm So Excited for This Process"
The RHOP cast member has taken a big step in her new role as a franchise owner.
Robyn Dixon continues to make waves in the business world.
The Real Housewives of Potomac OG has taken on many titles throughout her adult life, including a publicist; an event manager; a real estate investor; and, of course, a loving mom. However, the Baltimore native isn’t one to rest on her laurels and decided to venture into the beauty market earlier this year. Back in July, Robyn confirmed she had become a franchise owner of GLO30, a doctor-led subscription-based skincare studio founded by Dr. Arleen Lamba.
Robyn Dixon inks partnership with skincare studio
“After being a member for more than 10 years, I’ve seen firsthand how GLO30’s treatments have outlasted skincare trends and brought life-changing results to the people in the D.C. area,” she said in a statement to Essence. “As soon as I heard the brand was franchising, I jumped at the chance to expand the GLO30 franchise, starting in Columbia. GLO30’s hyper-focused, highly effective services are the best in the industry, and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to invest early.”
The studio, which has become quite prominent around the DMV region, focuses on personalized skincare treatments through its proprietary artificial intelligence system, GLOria.
“Having Robyn, who has been a member and huge advocate for over a decade, partner with us to grow GLO30 throughout Maryland is meaningful,” Dr. Arleen told Essence. “It speaks volumes to the connection we’ve fostered with our members and communities when members like Robyn want to take part in our growth across the country.”
Robyn Dixon takes major steps in her beauty venture
On December 21, Robyn announced she had taken a major step in her GLO30 partnership, as she finally selected a location, signed a lease, and was already working on a remodel.
“HUGE UPDATE on my journey to opening my [GLO30 Skincare] franchise!!!” she captioned the Instagram post. “My location is selected, the lease is signed and the architect is hard at work drawing up plans to transform this space into a beautiful Glo30 skincare studio. I’m so excited for this process. We’ll be located in the Columbia Crossing shopping center (with Target, Dick’s, HomeSense) in Columbia, MD! It’s a super convenient location right off of 95; I hope to see many of you there when we open!”
The mother of two posted a photo of her in the new space as she held out her arms and smiled ear-to-ear. The post garnered tens of thousands of “likes” and more than 1,000 comments. Her RHOP castmate Mia Thornton wrote, “SUPER PROUD OF YOU SIS!” while RHOP’s Ashley Darby and Gizelle Bryant added, “You go girl!!!” and “Yay! Can’t wait for my services!!,” respectively.
