Wendy Osefo Reacts to Mia Thornton Also Coming Out with a Candle Line

After revealing her own candle on this season of RHOP, Wendy shared her feelings about Mia's recent product launch.

On this season of The Real Housewives of PotomacWendy Osefo and Mia Thornton have had their differences (to say the least), so it's not exactly a surprise that Wendy has some thoughts about Mia's latest product launch.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Potomac on Peacock and the Bravo app

On the show's July 18 episode, Wendy revealed to her family that she was creating a home essentials line that included candles. The same month, Mia announced her company Amilleon London's own candle launch, featuring limited-edition "statement candles" made by Thompson Ferrier in collaboration with MAISON 10 and DFWM Paris

Of course, when Wendy appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on August 15, the titular host had to ask, "What was your reaction to Mia coming out with candles?"

"You know, they say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery," Wendy replied. "So I'm flattered, and I'm glad that I was able to help expand her business."

Wendy also took a moment on WWHL to clear up confusion regarding her conversation with Eddie Osefo about her new venture on RHOP's August 8 episode. "It seems unlikely that someone with a PhD wouldn't know you have to register an LLC if it was actually a dream to be an entrepreneur," said Andy, who was reading a viewer's comment. To that, Wendy replied, "I have a PhD in public affairs, and my degrees are in political science. I don't have a degree in business administration. But my husband has four degrees, and one of them is an MBA so...I went to my husband who has the degree in business."

While some viewers may be skeptical of Wendy's growing lifestyle career, she has Reza Farahan in her corner. "Will Wendy's candles be successful?" Andy asked the Shahs of Sunset cast member, who was also a guest on the show that night. "Hell yes," he said. "And I can't wait to get one."
