Dorinda Medley Explains Why She Put Brandi Glanville on the Pullout Couch
After Brandi had some complaints about her sleeping arrangement on RHUGT: Ex-Wives Club, Dorinda shared how she picked the rooms for her guests.
On the June 23 premiere episode of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club, Brandi Glanville admitted she wasn’t exactly thrilled with her bedroom assignment at Dorinda Medley’s Bluestone Manor.
“I’m on vacation, you give me a pullout couch?” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum said in an interview, adding with a laugh, “I thought Dorinda liked me.”
Of course, for Dorinda, deciding where her guests would stay within her Berkshires vacation home was a far more detailed process than picking favorites. On the June 30 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Dorinda had the opportunity to explain the method behind the bedroom assignments when the titular host asked her, “Why’d you put Brandi in the room with the pullout couch?” which prompted a big laugh from fellow guest Phaedra Parks.
“This is not a hotel. It’s a house,” Dorinda said. “Listen, I try to lay it out the best I can. I always get it wrong. But let me just say: I needed to put Tamra [Judge] and Vicki [Gunvalson] together. Then I wanted Eva [Marcille] to be by Phaedra… and then Jill [Zarin] was coming, and god forbid I didn’t give her [one of the main rooms]. See where we’re going with this?”
