5 Must-Try Booty Moves to Get All Toned Up, from Karena Dawn and Katrina Scott

Toned Up alums Karena and Katrina insist there's still time to get your butt in better shape by Labor Day... just grab a booty band!

There's no ifs, ands, or butts about it: Focusing on the backside is all the rage right now! Whether you are working toward the perfect wedding bod (shout out to Lala Kent) or just want that "Season 1 ass back" (we see you, Lindsay Hubbard), getting your booty toned is where it’s at. The Lookbook chatted with fitness experts and Bravo alums Karena Dawn and Katrina (Hodgson) Scott from the Bravo series Toned Up to get the scoop on quick booty exercises you can do on the fly.

For a quick refresher course: Toned Up followed personal trainers and lifestyle coaches Karena and Katrina, documenting their lives as roommates, best friends, and business partners. At that time, the two women had already found success turning their 2009 Manhattan Beach workout videos into a fitness web series called Tone It Up and have been working on expanding their fitness empire ever since. Today, their online community has grown into an even bigger following, reaching millions of women globally and empowering them to achieve their healthiest, happiest lives possible.

And while some things have changed in the last 10 years — like Karena’s last name after marrying her neighbor Bobby, and Katrina having a daughter named Isabelle — their love of fitness and passion for supporting women has remained the same. The pair shared with The Lookbook five easy moves from their “Booty On-Demand” series of their app to help get “booty-poppin" results by the end of summer.

The best part about these moves? According to Katrina and Karena, “You can do these workouts anytime, anywhere!”

To get started, grab a booty band and repeat the following five moves three times through. Katrina and Karena also recommend repeating the above circuit 2-3 times per week to help your derrière “feel tight and amazing.” 

Booty Band Shuffle
Do 15 reps on each side, alternating sides.

Do 15 reps.

Do 15 reps on each side.

Another secret to looking good? The fitness buffs shared that they both love wearing high-waisted leggings because they are “so sexy and flattering!” Perfect for when the weather cools down!
