Tom Colicchio Just Revealed He's Closing One of His Restaurants
The #TopChef judge will shutter Craftbar this spring.
Tom Colicchio announced some big news on Friday, revealing on Twitter that he'll be closing down his casual downtown eatery, Craftbar, this April. "After 15 years of making people happy we have decided to close Craftbar. Lease is up and the rent is too damn high. [Thank you] to all our fans," he wrote, reiterating that his other establishments will remain up and running: "Craft, Riverpark, Fowler & Wells and 'Wichcraft are all still open in NY."
Shortly after he broke the news (and food-lovers' hearts everywhere), Top Chef alum Dale Talde (who shut down his own beloved Pork Slope restaurant last October), sent the Top Chef judge some love on the restaurant's "great run."
And, Tom definitely appreciated all the kind words from the former Cheftestant and his fans.
