Gail Simmons Reveals the Sentimental Holiday Vacation Plans Her Husband Chose for Their Growing Family
The expecting Top Chef judge is returning to a place she remembers fondly before baby No. 2 comes.
Gail Simmons recently announced that she's expecting her second child (daughter Dahlia Rae is almost 4), and, like many smart parents who are about to have a second go-round, the Top Chef judge is planning one last big getaway before the birth.
"I'm going to Spain for Christmas, I'm really excited," she told Jet Set (clip above). "Christmas and New Year's. Southern Spain, starting in Madrid and working our way down. I'm just going with my family. I lived in Spain for a year for college and haven't been back to that part of Spain since, I've always wanted to go."
Despite the nostalgic connection, she actually wasn't the one to pick Spain. Those honors belonged to husband Jeremy Abrams.
"It was my husband's 40th birthday and he was really excited about going somewhere he'd never gone before," she explained. "He chose it and I was happy to oblige. So we're throwing our toddler on our back and making our way to Spain!"
