What resolutions? It seems like Bravo’s Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi is totally against them this year—and she isn’t afraid to admit it, either. The stunning mama just posted a sexy Instagram pic where she’s relaxing in a bathtub drinking a glass of wine. Her long legs are hanging out and we can see some flower petals in the tub, which shows that she’s clearly treating herself to a long, leisurely bath.

“Who needs resolutions?,” she cheekily captioned the hot photo. “But seriously... #tgif#newyearsameme#bekindtoyourself.” This kind of body positivity is so refreshing right now, especially with the pressure to lose weight or achieve some kind of super unrealistic fitness goal in the new year.

We can always count on the talented host to keep it real. Just recently, Padma opened up about how she gained some weight in Kentucky while filming Season 16, as she was drinking so many mint juleps and bourbons. What’s nice though, is that she isn’t really freaking out about it: “I’m mostly plant based at home. I do eat meat like I’m going to make a roast for Christmas and you make ragu as well,” she said. “But for the most part, naturally just getting more sleep, going to the gym regularly, drinking enough water, and eating food that’s much more simple will help me. But it takes me twice as long to drop the weight as it takes me to gain it.”

It’s that kind of refreshing honesty that makes the talented mom such a relatable host, and we’re completely on-board with her policy about loving oneself. After all, that’s what the new year should be all about.
