We love checking Padma Lakshmi's social media feeds on Thursdays, because the Bravo's Top Chef host is the queen of the #TBT. Padma's not afraid to dig into her photo archives for good Throwback Thursday posts, with gems like the results of her very '80s home perm, or the time she styled her hair with voluminous curly bangs and still looked unbelievably gorgeous in her high school yearbook photo.

How to Watch

Watch Top Chef on Bravo and next day on Peacock.

We've seen Padma with long hair, with short hair, and even with blonde hair. But for this week's #ThrowbackThursday, she revealed another era when she had bangs, right at the very beginning of her Hollywood career.

Padma posted a photo of herself posing with Tim Allen and Martin Short, along with the cheeky caption: "This is how I first got my SAG card by playing a glorified extra on the film Jungle 2 Jungle. I was credited as 'The Snake Lady' because of a snakeskin coat they made me wear. Also, who says I don’t like Republicans?

In this photo, Padma's got that same long, shiny mane of hair  — with the addition of those wispy side-swept bangs that were everywhere in the '90s (raise your hand if you were in the club). Jungle 2 Jungle came out in 1997, FYI, and these bangs still look smashing on Padma. We're also very curious about this snakeskin coat from the movie.

As for Padma's big early movie role, Andy Cohen chimed in on Padma's Instagram comments with another question we're asking, too: "How did I never know this!?!?!?"
