Duff Goldman and Bruce Kalman Set to Cook — and Rock Out in Their Band! — for Charity
Bruce Kalman and Duff Goldman are joining Top Chef vets for a good cause — and performing as Foie Grock!
Bruce Kalman, a Season 15 competitor on Bravo's Top Chef, often organizes and cooks at culinary events to benefit charitable organizations as well as individual people in need — such as he did recently in his hometown of Paramus, New Jersey, where he recently fundraised to benefit the victims of an accident on a school bus with students from East Brook Middle School (which he attended as a youth). Next up, he's cooking in Denver with fellow Top Chef vets Carrie Baird and Brother Luck as well as cake luminary Duff Goldman and Jason Rogers, the executive chef and partner of Oskar Blues, where the August 24 event takes place.
The five chefs are joining forces for a Culinary Hurly Burly to benefit the Can'd Aid Foundation, with each chef contributing a course to the meal. But perhaps the best part of this event is that Bruce and Duff have a rock group called Foie Grock that will perform live. Now that should be something to see.
