Padma Lakshmi Just “Got the Best, Most Detailed” Recipe… From her Uber Driver
The host of Bravo's Top Chef got a fortuitous ride from a Bangladeshi Uber driver with a killer biriyani recipe.
Bravo's Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi knows her way around the kitchen. But when there's something she doesn't know — or when she encounters someone from whom she can learn — she's all about listening and learning.
Most recently, she just acknowledged a person who dropped some knowledge on her where she might have least expected it: from the driver's seat of her Uber.
Padma took to her Instagram to share a shoutout to the immigrant driver with the recipe that wowed her.
"If you know, then you know," she wrote. "Yesterday I got the best, most detailed goat #Biriyani recipe from my Bangladeshi Uber driver. Thx Mohammed!!"
